A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Wim Wilmes hit a great ball. After 11 minutes, Freek Saarberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shaolin soccer and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Wlodzimierz Osielski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Arbaszewski in the 15th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Arbaszewski in the 19th minute of play. The corner ended in Lucjan Siekierski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Lucjan Siekierski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shaolin soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Siekierski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars Meesters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Herbert Walczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Shaolin soccer's Lucjan Siekierski got a free kick in the 30th minute. With 33 minutes on the clock, Lucjan Siekierski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Shaolin soccer:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wlodzimierz Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute. Freek Saarberg hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Cyryl Arbaszewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers. Cyryl Arbaszewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wlodzimierz Osielski firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Shaolin soccer's Wlodzimierz Osielski got control of the ball when Lars Meesters tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Wlodzimierz Osielski made a huge save. In the 60th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Osielski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cyryl Arbaszewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 영 in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game 김 영 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, 김 영 notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that 김 영's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Wlodzimierz Osielski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 79 minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, David Eikelkamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Shaolin soccer's Freek Saarberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Osielski having to interfere. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Freek Saarberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Shaolin soccer players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
