Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Enrico Cerrone sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Hegedus Henrik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ettore Cameli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Amerigo Cesarini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus F.C.'s zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amerigo Cesarini came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elia Caccia hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. Enrico Cerrone struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus F.C.. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juventus F.C.'s Amerigo Cesarini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus F.C. from getting a goal against them. Balogh Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Balazs Norbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes Juventus F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Salerni. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus F.C.'s zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amerigo Cesarini came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary played a much better game than Juventus F.C. and deserved their victory. The Juventus F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
