Oscar De Putter kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Andreas Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Edwin Koppen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edwin Koppen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Koppen in the 13th minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Wils FC's Edwin Koppen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Andreas Frans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 23rd minute of play forced Wils FC's goalkeeper Andreas Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 24th minute. Germany's Frank Sachs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andreas Frans in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Harald De Messemaeckre scored 3-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Oscar De Putter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Harald De Messemaeckre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

57 minutes into the game, Harald De Messemaeckre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Etienne Van Achteren came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Etienne Van Achteren took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Germany were furious when Malte Schiele was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Tommy Kahn had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Edwin Koppen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Oscar De Putter threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Linus Schwerner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 78 minutes, Etienne Van Achteren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wils FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etienne Van Achteren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edwin Koppen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Etienne Van Achteren hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Koppen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Harald De Messemaeckre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After having played for 95 minutes, Edwin Koppen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wils FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Koppen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne Van Achteren in the 98th minute of play. Wils FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
