Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Göksel Taşdan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Fontana was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Armando Fontana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Armando Fontana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Pimentel scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Fontana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Göksel Taşdan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. If Göksel Taşdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the game, Daniel Pimentel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Armando Fontana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Puianello FC's Amedeo Di Lullo was substituted for Carlo Mazzone. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Marcell Jacobs with Francesco Coscia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 61 minutes of play, Puianello FC's Amedeo Di Lullo made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilson Amorim had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Camillo Caiola's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Marcell Jacobs with Göksel Taşdan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Di Lullo in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Puianello FC's Angelo Esposito got a free kick in the 77th minute. Armando Fontana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Camillo Caiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Göksel Taşdan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göksel Taşdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Amedeo Di Lullo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Göksel Taşdan scored 5-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 98th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Puianello FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
