If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Hegedus Henrik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Makareus Picoulas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yuquerí AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Makareus Picoulas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Makareus Picoulas in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Lastur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 30th minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Makareus Picoulas got free with Fodor Daniel in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Celedonio Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boros Benedek kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Makareus Picoulas was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lino Torres who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lino Torres almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Yuquerí AFC's zone, Balazs Lajos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Lastur came out of the goal and Balazs Lajos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th match minute, Yuquerí AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ime Chabas to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Takacs Tibor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Celedonio Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Yuquerí AFC's goalkeeper Celedonio Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yuquerí AFC's goalkeeper Celedonio Lastur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Antal Valentin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lino Torres was slow to take the kick. During this time Yuquerí AFC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Dacian Hirean managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Takacs Tibor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celedonio Lastur. That made the score 0-5 in the 93 minute of play. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yuquerí AFC throughout the match.
