In the 3rd minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Grocholski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Wladyslaw Fudalej made a precise shot to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 15th minute Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wladyslaw Fudalej in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henrich Slany, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Wladyslaw Fudalej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, KTH Krynica's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Holub came free, but Adam Grocholski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Grocholski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Grocholski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metod Mlynar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wladyslaw Fudalej. Oliver Holub hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrich Slany. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Metod Mlynar made the kick off in the second half. After 62 minutes, Vavrinec Koleno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovakia and the KTH Krynica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Fryderyk Nocny managed to get in a good position for a shot. KTH Krynica's supporters rose to their feet, but Fryderyk Nocny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the KTH Krynica defense, Metod Mlynar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Grocholski. The KTH Krynica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Grocholski should have stopped the shot. Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Henrich Slany didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KTH Krynica. In the 88th minute Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Adam Grocholski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
