The supporters of Switzerland booed when KTH Krynica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Wlodyga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Adam Grocholski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuele Kunz took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Grocholski. Adam Grocholski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KTH Krynica's zone, Jacinto Maurer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Grocholski came out of the goal and Jacinto Maurer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd match minute, KTH Krynica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Sierocki to maneuver through the defense. When Switzerland's Samuele Kunz in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KTH Krynica's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Switzerland were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Samuele Kunz made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wladyslaw Fudalej during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wladyslaw Fudalej hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Jacinto Maurer came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Maurer couldn't finish the play. When Samuele Kunz came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuele Kunz couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jacinto Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Switzerland's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Maurer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Grocholski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Slawomir Sierocki hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, KTH Krynica's goalkeeper Adam Grocholski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuele Kunz. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Fudalej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot.
