Ivan Almstedt made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sungur Rehber immediately put the ball in play. In the 14th minute, Sungur Rehber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Sungur Rehber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-0. Sungur Rehber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Anton Vinström struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ribba. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungur Rehber in the 44th minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sungur Rehber in the 97th minute of the match.
