The supporters of AdanaDemirSpor booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. AdanaDemirSpor's Lokman Taşkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lokman Taşkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AdanaDemirSpor's Lokman Taşkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AdanaDemirSpor the free kick. Lokman Taşkan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Germany's Albin Holweck quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Soner Kurtaran, made in the 29th minute of the game. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Rahman Akçam tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind AdanaDemirSpor's goalkeeper Lokman Taşkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lokman Taşkan saved AdanaDemirSpor from getting behind. AdanaDemirSpor's Lokman Taşkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 43rd minute of play. AdanaDemirSpor's Rahman Akçam got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahman Akçam in the 52nd minute of play. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Ali Güralp Tanyıldız tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 66 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Lokman Taşkan managed to make a qualified save. AdanaDemirSpor's players were relieved. Lokman Taşkan made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. AdanaDemirSpor's Rahman Akçam got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AdanaDemirSpor's Lokman Taşkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save AdanaDemirSpor from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Güralp Tanyıldız in the 86th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
