Marioara Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Constantino Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Dumitrescu in the 12th minute of play forced U21 Romania's goalkeeper Marioara Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Ramos in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marioara Matei saved U21 Romania from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Romania's zone, Manuel Pantiș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marioara Matei came out of the goal and Manuel Pantiș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Manuel Pantiș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Romania's Marioara Matei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The FC BRADUL -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when FC BRADUL -MM-'s Manuel Pantiș looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 25 played minutes U21 Romania got a freekick which was hit by Dan Braru. U21 Romania's Marioara Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Pantiș in the 28th minute of play. Edu Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marioara Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marioara Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Pantiș in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, FC BRADUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Marius Niculescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Tudor. Marioara Matei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Pantiș went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Iustinian Fecioru kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Marius Niculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Mailat in the 43rd minute of play. Marioara Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 58 minutes FC BRADUL -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Petre Petrean who took care of the corner kick. Marioara Matei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Ramos in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, U21 Romania's goalkeeper Marioara Matei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Pantiș. U21 Romania's Marioara Matei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Romania from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Manuel Pantiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BRADUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Pantiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marioara Matei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute Robert Tudor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Niculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, U21 Romania's goalkeeper Marioara Matei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vali Papaiani. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Romania's zone, Paşa Ali Soysan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marioara Matei came out of the goal and Paşa Ali Soysan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iustinian Fecioru was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC BRADUL -MM-! In the 87th minute there was a penalty for U21 Romania. Petre Petrean stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marius Niculescu. 1-2. After 91 played minutes U21 Romania got a freekick which was hit by Dan Braru. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vali Papaiani got free with Marioara Matei in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 played minutes U21 Romania got a freekick which was hit by Costel Damian. Vali Papaiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edu Ramos got free with Marioara Matei in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, U21 Romania's Marioara Matei got control of the ball when Vali Papaiani tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC BRADUL -MM- played a much better game than U21 Romania and deserved their victory. The U21 Romania players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
