Douglas Damião started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Mundo Rosas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 史默晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goalkeeper 史默晨 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francesc Prats. The crowd rose to their feet as Industrial United's Francesc Prats slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 史默晨. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 8th minute of the match Davide Giacomozzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel De Pablo skillfully saved the ball. In the 12th minute Industrial United were awarded a corner. 白文斌 went to the cornerflag to take it. 16 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Mundo Rosas came free, but 史默晨 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Davide Giacomozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Industrial United got a corner. FCSB CUENCA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 白文斌 ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Industrial United's corner Cipriano Gala fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 史默晨 quite easily take care of the ball. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by FCSB CUENCA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 白文斌 was slow to take the kick. During this time Industrial United's players had a chance to rest. 26 minutes into the match, Marcio Carreira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Industrial United's Samuel De Pablo. Samuel De Pablo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 史默晨 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcio Carreira in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel De Pablo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, FCSB CUENCA's 史默晨 got control of the ball when Francesc Prats tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leif Röd hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Francesc Prats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Sanches in the 38th minute of play forced Industrial United's goalkeeper Samuel De Pablo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Carmelo Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 史默晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Industrial United were awarded a corner. 白文斌 went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Mundo Rosas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Damião got free with Samuel De Pablo in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel De Pablo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Sanches in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Gala came free, but 史默晨 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel De Pablo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Damião in the 54th minute of play. Cipriano Gala struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. 史默晨 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Industrial United. 58 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Gala came free, but 史默晨 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60th play minutes Douglas Damião shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Samuel De Pablo and just under the crossbar into goal. Samuel De Pablo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Damião in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Douglas Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel De Pablo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Industrial United's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Damião came free, but Samuel De Pablo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Industrial United made a substitution. Robert Kaminski replaced Cipriano Gala. In the 88thth minute of the game Robert Kaminski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCSB CUENCA's 史默晨 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Americo Olivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The FCSB CUENCA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FCSB CUENCA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
