Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Viriato Moura got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Batalhão do Peçanha booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Baptista in the 3rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Graciano Coutinho hit a great ball. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Zé Pedro Baptista scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 1-0. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 11th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Bruno Bastos with Rodolfo Miranda as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Batalhão do Peçanha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Felipe Barreto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech did a great save. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 28th minute of the match. Zé Pedro Baptista took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Čech having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petr Čech. Batalhão do Peçanha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Pedro Baptista was the one to do the kick off. Stéphane Ballon kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Bruno Bastos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Batalhão do Peçanha's Stéphane Ballon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 58th minute, Zé Pedro Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match, Viriato Moura tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Petr Čech saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Baptista in the 61st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 63rd minute of play forced Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Bartolomeu Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 86th minute. Felipinho Amorim scored 2-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petr Čech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92ndth minute of the game Bartolomeu Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Pedro Baptista in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. The Portugal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
