Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. CD SHETTANI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 29 played minutes Estefan Farron rounded Netherlands's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estefan Farron got free with Arnout Reekers in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Elar Queron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ülo Nõmmoja hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.
