Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Villamarin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfonso Villamarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Villamarin. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Villamarin should have stopped the shot. Alfonso Villamarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Alfonso Villamarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Villamarin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 60th minute of play. Liu Yue kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Leones FC's Karol Sierocki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnout Reekers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Teofilio Lorca notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
