If Tolek Dankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Frank Sachs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mänsur Rzayev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ortzi Calzado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Dankowski in the 23rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mänsur Rzayev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mänsur Rzayev. Tolek Dankowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolek Dankowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Tolek Dankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Willy Stieler made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Albin Holweck however managed to control. A collision led to Şamaxı Bankirlər getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. The referee showed Ortzi Calzado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Germany's Valentin Lindner was substituted for Janik Vogt. In the 87th minute, Ortzi Calzado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Dankowski came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willy Stieler made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Şamaxı Bankirlər's Ryszard Kilar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Şamaxı Bankirlər had won after a very even match.
