Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thomas Vollmar kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Pankracy Malicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Vollmar. Thomas Vollmar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 4-0 after 30 minutes of play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Pankracy Malicki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Pankracy Malicki sent off a good shot on target. If Thomas Vollmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pankracy Malicki got free with Tommy Kahn in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Paulo Zonta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Newcastle United's Marian Erland getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 51st minute Thomas Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Pankracy Malicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dreifuss during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 86th minute Thomas Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Pacholewski scored 8-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Thomas Vollmar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pacholewski in the 95th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Newcastle United had played much better football throughout.
