Petre Stolniceanu started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucio Osoitz. Gomosao F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lucio Osoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Lucio Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerardo Sancho, made in the 19th minute of the game. Lucio Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Gomosao F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Lucio Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gomosao F.C.'s Ahmet Necdet Olgunsoy got a free kick in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucio Osoitz. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Lars Steen put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lucio Osoitz. Mikkel Wulff hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Adolfo Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Osoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ahmet Necdet Olgunsoy's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Necdet Olgunsoy helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Gomosao F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Necdet Olgunsoy. In the 43rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Nygaard to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucio Osoitz. That made the score 0-4 after 52 minutes of play. Adolfo Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Gomosao F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Calisto. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertram Svenningsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Osoitz having to make a save. After 67 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mikkel Wulff. Lucio Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark's attentive Mikkel Wulff managed to snatch the ball when Jesus Baristo made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Mikkel Wulff struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Lucio Osoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. After 72 played minutes Gomosao F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Necdet Olgunsoy. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Osoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jesus Baristo made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. Gomosao F.C.'s Jesus Baristo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Lars Steen got a free kick in the 78th minute. Denmark's Olav Graversen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerardo Sancho, made in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Lars Steen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Petre Stolniceanu took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Stolniceanu in the 89th minute of the match. The throw-in from Gerardo Sancho in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. The Gomosao F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
