Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Chris Nygaard made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 3rd minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Waaler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Waaler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 11th minute of play. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Vie's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Petter Vartdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denmark's Olav Graversen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jon-Egil Gjelsvik, made in the 30th minute of the game. In the 33rd match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Svensen to maneuver through the defense. When Jon-Egil Gjelsvik fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsnes's protests and gave Jon-Egil Gjelsvik a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Egil Gjelsvik. In the 35th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Waaler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Åsnes defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christer Waaler. The Åsnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Waaler should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Jonathan Vie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Petter Vartdal made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Jonathan Vie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. John-Einar Bøen made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. In the 58th minute Jonathan Vie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from John-Einar Bøen in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when David Reitan came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Vartdal in the 76th minute of play. The throw-in from John-Einar Bøen in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by John-Einar Bøen with Morten Sundseth as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kenn Skou hit a great ball. Åsnes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Morten Sundseth got a free kick in the 85th minute. With his leg Christer Waaler managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Denmark's Chris Nygaard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 88 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Christer Waaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Christer Waaler made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Morten Sundseth got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jan-Kenneth Woll got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by John-Einar Bøen. Denmark played a much better game than Åsnes and deserved their victory. The Åsnes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
