In the 6th match minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Henrique Casemiro to maneuver through the defense. Gernando Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 9th minute of play forced Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jorge Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gernando Azevedo took the corner. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorge Loyola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jorge Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ defense, Gernando Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Loyola. The Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Loyola should have stopped the shot. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Jorge Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto De Filippo to maneuver through the defense. If Gernando Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Gernando Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Fortunato Froněk got a free kick in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Toledo in the 42nd minute of play. Gernando Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Loyola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gernando Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47thth minute of the game Cipriano Sustrai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Téo Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's attentive Fred Monteiro managed to snatch the ball when Augusto De Filippo made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Cipriano Sustrai reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruy Montenegro. The goal made the score 3-1. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ made a substitution. Hulk Zaracho replaced Téo Toledo. Ruy Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Zaracho, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Fred Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Cipriano Sustrai put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ruy Montenegro. Petter Bivall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ruy Montenegro came out and tried to block the shot, but Petter Bivall slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 84th minute. If Hulk Zaracho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hulk Zaracho came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Gernando Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ the free kick. Gernando Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
