Didi Cardozo made in the 2nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Prospero Perfecto immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Carneiro in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borys Gruchacz saved Joinville United - FSCMZ from getting behind. Joinville United - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maurício Donatello took the corner. The corner led Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello to fire away a dangerous shot which Romulo Viator despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mané Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Shu Zhen in the 16th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Perfecto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Kaká Carneiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Borys Gruchacz to make any attempt to save it. Romulo Viator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Khan in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute OTTO FC - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Su Shu Zhen went to the cornerflag to take it. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Su Shu Zhen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Borys Gruchacz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Willibald Otto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borys Gruchacz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaká Carneiro in the 33rd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Kaká Carneiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Borys Gruchacz, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Shu Zhen in the 36th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Su Shu Zhen came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Carneiro in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Su Shu Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaká Carneiro made a kick off. In the 51st minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Viator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Xiang Xun in the 52nd minute of the match. Kaká Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Mané Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Kaká Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Lara to maneuver through the defense. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Yang Hui Wen was substituted for Mané Lara. Joinville United - FSCMZ made a substitution. Perivaldo de Lara replaced Maurício Donatello. Borys Gruchacz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OTTO FC - FSCMZ. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo de Lara got free with Romulo Viator in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to OTTO FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ren Xiang Xun hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Joinville United - FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
