Dani Alves hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Nathaniel Burnett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rômulo Neiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Nathaniel Burnett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Rolando Gaspard hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Sidney Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wambasther Robben in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nathaniel Burnett in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rômulo Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by 温浩康 in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mukifus FSCMZ's Ben Zynek. Sidney Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidney Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Hudson in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nathaniel Burnett to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Hudson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidney Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Válbson Pimenta replaced Berenguer Anda. In the 69th minute of the game 温浩康 made a throw-in which Válbson Pimenta played forward. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Pimenta in the 72nd minute of play. Sidney Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Zynek, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Válbson Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Ademar de Mendonça was substituted for Armandinho Loyola. Rômulo Neiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 86th minute. Rômulo Neiva was a little too slow when Válbson Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 95th minute, Válbson Pimenta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Imbituba - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
