Tobias Pepillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tobias Pepillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Lara in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Pepillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.J. 韩文海 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Poling, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tobias Pepillo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville Esporte Clube's Benjamin Lara. But to his dismay, Benjamin Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Compostela FSCMZ defense, Benjamin Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Pepillo. The Compostela FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Pepillo should have stopped the shot. Chicão Cerezo had several of the Joinville Esporte Clube's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed A.J. 韩文海 as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tobias Pepillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Lara in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tobias Pepillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Benjamin Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Pepillo. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. A.J. 韩文海 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Poling in the 37th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Compostela FSCMZ defense, Benjamin Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Pepillo. The Compostela FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Pepillo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Lara in the 45th minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tobias Pepillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. If Amauri Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Niezgoda came free, but A.J. 韩文海 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Jerry Uchiha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Compostela FSCMZ's Tobias Pepillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Compostela FSCMZ's Naldo Figueiredo was substituted for Alexander Fabiani. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Raí Peres replaced Boruc Poling. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Remo Alagoano replaced Robert Kornatowski. After 77 played minutes Joinville Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Vieira. Thanks to some nice moves Jerry Uchiha could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Tobias Pepillo however easily saved by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Joinville Esporte Clube eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
