The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mukifus FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Téo Matorin was slow to take the kick. During this time Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Hudson in the 8th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cristiano Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Hudson in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Mukifus FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Wambasther Robben went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Mukifus FSCMZ's Filipe Freire getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 21st minute, Thiago Hudson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Messias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cristiano Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Hudson in the 24th minute of play. Cristiano Messias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ben Zynek went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cristiano Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Hudson in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Thiago Hudson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Messias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Zynek came free, but Cristiano Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Cristiano Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Ben Zynek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jaime Carro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Mukifus FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Carro couldn't finish the play. Mukifus FSCMZ were furious when Cássio Vidal was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 44 minutes into the game, one of Mukifus FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rômulo Neiva had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Téo Matorin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Hudson in the 47th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cristiano Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 49 minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wambasther Robben who took care of the corner kick. After the first half Mukifus FSCMZ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dagoberto Moraes was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Zynek got free with Cristiano Messias in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Thiago Hudson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mukifus FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Thiago Hudson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cristiano Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Zynek in the 69th minute of play. Téo Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Madureira in the 82nd minute of play. When Vahit Ergüç fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's protests and gave Vahit Ergüç a yellow card for diving instead. Gösta Lindell kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Carlos Madureira in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rômulo Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Mukifus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Monico came free, but Rômulo Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rômulo Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Monico went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mukifus FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
