In the 16th minute Eustacio Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Sayveon in the 22nd minute of play forced Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Heidemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Horacio Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes in the game, Horacio Sayveon dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Luiz Heidemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Sayveon in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Chupan Zorrilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Sayveon in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Heidemann saved Heidemann FC - FSCMZ from getting behind. The supporters of E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE booed when Heidemann FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Garrincha didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Hotz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Serginho Amorim got a free kick in the 51st minute. 56 minutes into the game, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Horacio Sayveon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Heidemann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Luiz Heidemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Eger in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Tite Pombo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Breen John couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE. Luiz Heidemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Sayveon in the 63rd minute of play. Luiz Heidemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Manoel Garrincha scored to the left of an out of position Alexandre Brasil, making the score, 2-1. In the 75thth minute of the game Horacio Sayveon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Luiz Heidemann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandre Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Dracena in the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Dracena notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Alexandre Brasil. Alexandre Brasil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the game, Eustacio Hotz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Alexandre Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neil Peart got free with Alexandre Brasil in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Vinicio Balasi hit a great ball. Breen John might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Brasil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breen John ran back to his position shaking his head.
