The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Dagoberto Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Alexandre Brasil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandre Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Milko's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cristiano Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Eger. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Milko, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Vinicio Balasi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vinicio Balasi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vinicio Balasi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! 23 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Morningstar came free, but Alexandre Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Moraes came free, but Alexandre Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Milko took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Brasil. Alexandre Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Alexandre Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brandon Norton kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Morningstar in the 47th minute of play forced E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Alexandre Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juninho Eger made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Alexandre Brasil threw himself towards the right post 50 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dagoberto Moraes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vítor Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cristiano Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Morningstar in the 55th minute of play. Dagoberto Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Horacio Sayveon hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Albuquerque was substituted for Luiz Paulo Dracena. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Nico Alvarenga was substituted for Brandon Norton. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ruy Melo hit a great ball. If Juninho Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Alexandre Brasil got control of the ball when Igor Milko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
