After a rather tough play, Compostela FSCMZ's Alexander Fabiani got a free kick in the 4th minute. Gernando Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Pepillo having to make a save. Tobias Pepillo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gernando Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Kornatowski came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Robert Kornatowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 19th minute of play. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Tobias Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Alexander Fabiani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Stefan Stenquist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ defense, Jaroslaw Niezgoda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruy Montenegro. The Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruy Montenegro should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Gernando Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tobias Pepillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Poling in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Fred Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Pepillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Tobias Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 54th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Gernando Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Pepillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 66 minutes of play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Pepillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Remo Alagoano replaced Naldo Figueiredo. After 75 minutes of play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Pepillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Raí Peres replaced Boruc Poling. Compostela FSCMZ's Inácio Mattos was substituted for Robert Kornatowski. 82 minutes into the match, Gernando Azevedo notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Compostela FSCMZ's Tobias Pepillo. Tobias Pepillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gernando Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Azevedo couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Compostela FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Andes FC - FSCMZ.
