Viriato Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Andrea Moschetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Massaro in the 7th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Daniele Massaro came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Seggiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Massaro couldn't finish the play. Andrea Moschetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godo Møltoft in the 13th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seggiano were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cesare Del Duca took the corner. After taking down the ball on Seggiano's corner Cesare Del Duca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Seggiano's Godo Møltoft fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22nd minute, Graciano Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godo Møltoft, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Godo Møltoft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. 38 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seggiano the free kick. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godo Møltoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godo Møltoft in the 44th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Del Duca in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Godo Møltoft made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Klawki in the 54th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Seggiano's Andrea Moschetta got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Seggiano's Amerigo Falone suffered a concussion in the 63rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Seggiano's Guntis Pakuls was substituted for Amerigo Falone. After 63 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. Portugal's Faustino Almeida managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guntis Pakuls in the 67 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolomeu Dias in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Moschetta saved Seggiano from getting behind. Andrea Moschetta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolomeu Dias's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The throw-in from Guntis Pakuls in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. A hard shot 76 in the game by Felipinho Amorim from a close distance when the talented Andrea Moschetta managed to make a qualified save. Seggiano's players were relieved. 77 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goalkeeper Andrea Moschetta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Alfred Klawki sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Andrea Moschetta made a huge save. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Klawki, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute of the match, Felipinho Amorim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andrea Moschetta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Massaro came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Seggiano had won after a very even match.
