Antoni Domamir might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antoni Domamir ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sparta Torex's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Takacs Tibor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Buczko in the 77th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88th play minutes Wit Buczko shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Fodor Daniel and just under the crossbar into goal.
