Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Günay Kargin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. AC Eskisehir's Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 7th minute of play. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Alpertunga Semdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Eskisehir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. A collision led to AC Eskisehir getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alpertunga Semdin hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. 33 minutes into the match, AC Eskisehir's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu saved AC Eskisehir from getting behind. After 37 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdinç Şerif kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Eskisehir's Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu did a great save. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, AC Eskisehir's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. AC Eskisehir were furious when Nacho Morales was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC Eskisehir! 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Eskisehir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Bas Tuitert heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's David Eikelkamp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu. That made the score 0-4 after 72 minutes of play. Günay Kargin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes AC Eskisehir got a freekick which was hit by Nurettin Serkan. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alpertunga Semdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu. AC Eskisehir's Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wim Wilmes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu. That made the score 0-6 in the 89 minute of play. After 92 minutes, Gust Ennemans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Netherlands and the AC Eskisehir players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gust Ennemans. Sümer Giyas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target.
