Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaston Zárate started the match with the kick off. Jurand Cempa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jurand Cempa came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnout Reekers could save by the left post. After having played for 4 minutes, Zenon Cisek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zacisze Częstochowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenon Cisek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonzalo Firme charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Firme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Netherlands's Sijmen Clous was substituted for Lars Meesters. In the 6th minute, Gonzalo Firme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Jurand Cempa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The Zacisze Częstochowa fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Zacisze Częstochowa's Gaston Zárate looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Damaso Alonso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. Miroslaw Gollob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Miroslaw Gollob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. A collision led to Zacisze Częstochowa getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Axel Coomans hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miroslaw Gollob quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Verdu in the 58th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslaw Gollob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 60th minute of play. Zacisze Częstochowa made a substitution. Akif Yetik replaced Maksymilian Drapinski. After 63 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Zacisze Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Firme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslaw Gollob having to make a save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Verdu in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jurand Cempa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the game, Jurand Cempa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zenon Cisek scored 4-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Netherlands's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Zacisze Częstochowa had won, even though Netherlands had held more of the ball.
