He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Gölcükspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Bahattin Balaban made a huge save. Renaud Grandpré kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahattin Balaban read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Hungary were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Gölcükspor to leave the ground with a draw.
