Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amos Cocca started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Gölcükspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Cocca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bahattin Balaban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bahattin Balaban came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gölcükspor's goalkeeper Bahattin Balaban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute Gölcükspor were awarded a corner. Ahmet Bedri Keskiner went to the cornerflag to take it. Ahmet Bedri Keskiner made a great header on Gölcükspor's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Cocca in the 22nd minute of play. Bahattin Balaban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 26th minute of play. Amos Cocca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bahattin Balaban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Bahattin Balaban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. After a rather tough play, Gölcükspor's Alişan Keyfer got a free kick in the 47th minute. After some careless play in the Gölcükspor defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bahattin Balaban. The Gölcükspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bahattin Balaban should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 67 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the last second Bahattin Balaban throw himself and got hold of the ball when Lars Meesters in the 71stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gölcükspor's Bahattin Balaban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Gölcükspor from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Gölcükspor's goalkeeper Bahattin Balaban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. 80 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bahattin Balaban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bahattin Balaban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Leontin Zăhărescu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gölcükspor's Leontin Zăhărescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Gölcükspor defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bahattin Balaban. The Gölcükspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bahattin Balaban should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Gölcükspor's Bahattin Balaban got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line.
