Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carl Downes kicked off to start the match. Tim Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Owen Noble got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim Johnstone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Dave Joy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Vörös Henrik got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 15 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Tim Johnstone. The Tigers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Downes in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Vinnie Backhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinnie Backhouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when The Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinnie Backhouse didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Downes came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the game, Bakos Endre landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Owen Noble during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hungary made a substitution. Balogh Bela replaced Bakos Endre. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Owen Noble got a free kick in the 31st minute. The Tigers:s Tim Johnstone showed great skill when he stopped Antal Valentin:s penalty. Tim Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match Hungary got a corner. The Tigers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hungary's Hegedus Henrik to a score. 0-4 in the 41st minute. The The Tigers fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when The Tigers's Carl Downes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Downes in the 55th minute of play. The Tigers's Tris Hedges was substituted for Sid Francis. Vinnie Backhouse kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Tim Johnstone made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Tim Johnstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a little luck, The Tigers's Tim Johnstone got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Bond during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, The Tigers's Tim Johnstone got control of the ball when Hegedus Henrik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Downes's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Tim Johnstone made a huge save. When The Tigers's Carl Downes in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Tim Johnstone made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Tigers.
