The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Hammarbäck in the 17th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 김 망절 was slow to take the kick. During this time El Branca del Vieja's players had a chance to rest. The corner led El Branca del Vieja's 김 망절 to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Genaro Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 39th minute of play. Casper Claes was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Mauro Milano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauro Milano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Ponciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Mikael Hammarbäck put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Casper Claes. El Branca del Vieja's Fabian Maldonado was substituted for Ramiro James. Genaro Ponciano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sander Dermaut in the 67th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Genaro Ponciano made a huge save. Genaro Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 73rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Mauro Milano put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Casper Claes. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Genaro Ponciano made a huge save. El Branca del Vieja's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Yves Dervaux scored to the left of an out of position Genaro Ponciano, making the score, 6-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Genaro Ponciano in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 6-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Ponciano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Genaro Ponciano. El Branca del Vieja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-4. After having played for 96 minutes, Mauro Milano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Branca del Vieja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Milano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgium players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Branca del Vieja.
