Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Luck's Sever Patriciu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roch Cieslak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 2nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Patriciu in the 4th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute of the match FC Luck got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vasile Târcă ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Narcis Voinescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Patriciu in the 8th minute of play. Viriato Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Narcis Voinescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 18th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Roch Cieslak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 22 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Roch Cieslak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Narcis Voinescu sent off a good shot on target. FC Luck's Roch Cieslak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Luck's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Portugal's Felipe Barreto to fire away a dangerous shot which Roch Cieslak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 35 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Caetano. Daniel Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Patriciu came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Cieslak having to interfere. The corner ended in Vasile Târcă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Roch Cieslak in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute of the game, Rodolfo Miranda landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The supporters of Portugal booed when FC Luck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Trifu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Roch Cieslak in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Patriciu in the 70th minute of the match. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sever Patriciu's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Vaani Luca hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Emilijano Kozapalidis hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Roch Cieslak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolomeu Dias went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Patriciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Roch Cieslak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Felipinho Amorim. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Roch Cieslak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narcis Voinescu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Luck. The Portugal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
