Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. Frederico Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Severiano Campelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Nascente do Leça's Severiano Campelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 19thth minute of the game Severiano Campelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severiano Campelo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Nascente do Leça's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nascente do Leça's Severiano Campelo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 41 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Campelo came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute Severiano Campelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Severiano Campelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Campelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Campelo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Campelo in the 68th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Campelo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Severiano Campelo scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Campelo in the 79th minute of play. After 81st play minutes Severiano Campelo shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 96th minute of the match Franciszek Serwach sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Campelo came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nascente do Leça.
