If Alex Orsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Guipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Yane Topuzakov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Orsi got free with Arnout Reekers in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Guipuzkoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Orsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Guipuzkoa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sebastian Guipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 68th minute of the match. After 69 minutes Harvey The Hedgehog's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Lars Meesters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Sebastian Guipuzkoa made a huge save. In the 72nd match minute, Harvey The Hedgehog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spiro Dobroslavski to maneuver through the defense. Harvey The Hedgehog's Sebastian Guipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Harvey The Hedgehog from getting a goal against them. Kees Mooiweer made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gijsbert ter Kruimer however managed to control. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Guipuzkoa came out and tried to block the shot, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 81st minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sebastian Guipuzkoa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sebastian Guipuzkoa made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Guipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 88th minute of the match. Yane Topuzakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
