Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iwo Sawicki got the match started through his kick off. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pentti Ojala in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match, Iwo Sawicki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Concetto Raniolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 8th minute of play. Concetto Raniolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christo Bothenhain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 11th minute. Iwo Sawicki took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Christo Bothenhain came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. Pentti Ojala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christo Bothenhain. 20 minutes into the game, Gunther Gräßer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Gunther Gräßer kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Pentti Ojala got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 26th minute of the match, Iwo Sawicki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 27th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hanns Weber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match Tiger got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christo Bothenhain ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Folko Rebe heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Christo Bothenhain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Christo Bothenhain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Tiger's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Concetto Raniolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hanns Weber struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiger. Concetto Raniolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute Iwo Sawicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Pentti Ojala notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tiger's Pentti Ojala in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Pentti Ojala came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Tiger's Gaizka Mendieta was substituted for Gunther Gräßer. Tiger made a substitution. Fatih Schwemer replaced Rudolf Speed. Tiger's Ingo Ustorf was substituted for Yahya Kemal Özveren. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pentti Ojala in the 75th minute of play. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Concetto Raniolo having to make a save. In the 78th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Sawicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiger's Iwo Sawicki got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Sawicki's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Iwo Sawicki put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. When Tiger's Iwo Sawicki in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Tiger walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
