He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jacek Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Jerzy Kojder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jurand Jakisz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hias Nüssli was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Samuele Kunz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Maurer. Jurand Jakisz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jacinto Maurer hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jurand Jakisz made a kick off. Jerzy Kojder might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hias Nüssli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Kojder ran back to his position shaking his head. Grzegorz Jaruzelski's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grzegorz Jaruzelski helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Mazur Elk - koniec gry got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Jaruzelski. Samuele Kunz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Maurer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Mazur Elk - koniec gry's goalkeeper Cyryl Kostka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuele Kunz. Samuele Kunz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Samuele Kunz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Cyryl Kostka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Switzerland's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
