Téo Pires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovani de Salles having to make a save. Leopoldo Jacinto Luque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimas Barrientos's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that Dimas Barrientos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Zanette was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimas Barrientos in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Zanette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimas Barrientos in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Zanette saved Grêmio 20 Julho from getting behind. When Ríver Late's Dimas Barrientos in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
