Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zaccheo Andolina got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Ademir Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademir Baptista. Matungo Gaúcho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukianos Gavriilidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Borges to maneuver through the defense. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ademir Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matungo Gaúcho's Ademir Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wong Eadan got free with Flavio Vittori in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Loukianos Gavriilidis in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Henk van Putten put in a rough tackle. In the 35th minute, one of Matungo Gaúcho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Matungo Gaúcho. Ademir Baptista had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Sigfrido Auletta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 40 minutes Matungo Gaúcho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. Ademir Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Urban Magnusson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loukianos Gavriilidis during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Matungo Gaúcho getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Loukianos Gavriilidis hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Wong Eadan made the kick off in the second half. Donato Gaeta struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matungo Gaúcho. Loukianos Gavriilidis got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Anatol Hönes. In the 67th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Ademir Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute of the game Loukianos Gavriilidis made a throw-in which Jânio Gaúcho played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Borges in the 81st minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes in the game Loukianos Gavriilidis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jânio Gaúcho. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wong Eadan's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When Matungo Gaúcho's Wong Eadan in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
