When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Borys Gruchacz. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gustavo Scarpa came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Joinville United - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Scarpa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 31st minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Borys Gruchacz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Borys Gruchacz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Joinville United - FSCMZ booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deodato Magliozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Italy's Deodato Magliozzi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernando Vale, made in the 50th minute of the game. After 52 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Italy booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Joinvilense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Borys Gruchacz, 0-6. 63 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Scarpa came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deodato Magliozzi to maneuver through the defense. Borys Gruchacz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. The supporters of Italy booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Perfecto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adriano Curto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Italy played a much better game than Joinville United - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Joinville United - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
