Thanks to some nice moves Germano Borba could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Radoslaw Zukowski sent off a good shot on target. After 11 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Eliseu Tavares took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 17th match minute, Futebol Espinhel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Santana to maneuver through the defense. If David Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Vasconcelos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futebol Espinhel's Celso Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radoslaw Zukowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. 46 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futebol Espinhel the free kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. If Humberto Velasques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. But to his dismay, Humberto Velasques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Eliseu Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseu Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Futebol Espinhel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Germano Borba made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Humberto Velasques however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Futebol Espinhel's Radoslaw Zukowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Zukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. During the 90th minute of the match Eliseu Tavares completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eliseu Tavares a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 92 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celso Vasconcelos, 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Futebol Espinhel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
