Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Gerardo Comas hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norbert Dombroski to strike the kick off in the second half. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roger Josefsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velichko Kabedelov in the 59th minute of the match. Dream tin tin's Roger Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 64th minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Dream tin tin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dream tin tin's goalie and right to Egbert Nijveldt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dream tin tin's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 71st minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Lars Meesters managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Doctor Strange in the 73 minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Dream tin tin's goalkeeper Roger Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dream tin tin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roger Josefsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Josefsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Dombroski in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
