Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Son Federigo in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Leon Navarro got a free kick in the 38th minute. The throw-in from Tracey Ramsey in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Raul Caetano. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Felipe Barretos short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Ezequiel Centurión to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felipe Barreto scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Centurión, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Portugal's Fabricio Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Centurión narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
