Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frédson Melo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Frédson Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Morozan scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Catalin Haldan's Frédson Melo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. After 22 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olavi Liib was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Morozan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Olimpiu Pociu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catalin Haldan's supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Pociu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavi Liib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavi Liib having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Frédson Melo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-1. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Peter Telin took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Catalin Haldan's Olavi Liib proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Catalin Haldan from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Catalin Haldan's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Olavi Liib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Olavi Liib in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Melo in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Catalin Haldan's Cazimir Răcănel got a free kick in the 75th minute. Cazimir Răcănel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Olavi Liib skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Germany's Chris Mergenthaler shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Olavi Liib but with some difficulty. After 93 minutes, Radu Curea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catalin Haldan and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Catalin Haldan got a freekick which was hit by Radu Curea. After 96 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss.
