Boruc Gongolewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. FORZA BIANCOVERDE's Boruc Gongolewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnout Reekers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Helmut Kunze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 11th minute of play. Netherlands's Lars Meesters managed to work through FORZA BIANCOVERDE's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lars Meesters dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 16 minutes into the match, FORZA BIANCOVERDE's C.J. Braut Haaland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boruc Gongolewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time FORZA BIANCOVERDE's players had a chance to rest. In the 19th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. FORZA BIANCOVERDE's Helmut Kunze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 28th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Zuraw in the 32nd minute of the match. Helmut Kunze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 40th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when C.J. Braut Haaland made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Iwo Pacholewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helmut Kunze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 52nd minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt spun around in front of the goal 52 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FORZA BIANCOVERDE's goal. The supporters of Netherlands booed when FORZA BIANCOVERDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Zuraw didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FORZA BIANCOVERDE's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmut Kunze came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, FORZA BIANCOVERDE's C.J. Braut Haaland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If C.J. Braut Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FORZA BIANCOVERDE's C.J. Braut Haaland got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FORZA BIANCOVERDE's Helmut Kunze got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Helmut Kunze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
