Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhun Ünver having to interfere. Paulo Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match, Utku Talha tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erhun Ünver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Lars Meesters got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erhun Ünver quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Bukowski came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Coelho. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when John Steinbeck came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Coelho in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Paulo Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Utku Talha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ZENO's Erhun Ünver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 58th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erhun Ünver. ZENO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Meesters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Utku Talha in the 61st minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Utku Talha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Charles Bukowski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute Utku Talha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Bukowski in the 74th minute of play. Erhun Ünver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Coelho came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ZENO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John Steinbeck in the 92nd minute. Osman Nuri İlter made a great header on ZENO's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Erhun Ünver in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Netherlands players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
