Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, ZENO's Charles Bukowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as John Steinbeck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind ZENO's goalkeeper Erhun Ünver, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baskın Üstünbay in the 10th minute of play. In the 16th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erhun Ünver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erhun Ünver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 27 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ZENO's Erhun Ünver. Erhun Ünver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ZENO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Bukowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erhun Ünver was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute ZENO were awarded a corner. John Steinbeck went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that John Steinbeck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Paulo Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After 38 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was John Steinbeck who took care of the corner kick. Mathijn Doctor made in the 40th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Charles Bukowski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baskın Üstünbay in the 52nd minute of play. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erhun Ünver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. John Steinbeck's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Steinbeck helped the player get up and apologised. John Steinbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erhun Ünver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Coelho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the game's 64th minute Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Erhun Ünver and thus the score was 2-3. Erhun Ünver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Baskın Üstünbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erhun Ünver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 71st minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhun Ünver having to interfere. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
