With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiger Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play forced Mordham FC's goalkeeper Tiger Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Byrne in the 23rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiger Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy Horseman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Osmond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Albert Osmond came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Mordham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Osmond couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Osmond in the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Tiger Kahn in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Mordham FC's Tiger Kahn got control of the ball when David Eikelkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mordham FC's Zack Blewett was substituted for Jeremy Horseman. In the 62nd minute Albert Osmond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Eikelkamp got free with Tiger Kahn in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's Gary Byrne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiger Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gary Byrne in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Mordham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Dunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mordham FC's Tiger Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goalkeeper Tiger Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. A collision led to Mordham FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sid Barton hit a great ball. Tiger Kahn made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Mordham FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
